Today, our desire to travel and see the world is no longer as unattainable as some may think. Numerous business organizations have decided to capitalize on this desire by offering services to travel buffs, allowing them to easily purchase tickets and other travel necessities in the comfort of their homes.

Among those businesses in is Travelzoo. What are their services? How legitimate is the company? Let us find out by looking at the Travelzoo reviews I found online.

Travelzoo is an online travel agency that sells services which includes flight booking, hotel reservations, travel activities, car rental services, holiday deals, and more.

What people are saying

If you’re the type of traveler who wants everything to be sure and in place before you go out there, then I have some bad news for you. According to some Travelzoo reviews, the company is terrible at handling customer’s inquiries as well as complaints.

Some passengers said that their flight booking with Travelzoo didn’t go through, yet their credit cards were still charged.

On a more positive note, if you simply want to know more about the available tours and activities in a specific destination, then their site is a good source of information.

The website

Travelzoo Reviews Website

Travelzoo can be considered as one of the pioneers in the industry of online travel agencies, considering how they began operations in the 90’s. However, when you look at their website, it appears that the company is stuck in its early days. Why? Because the site looks outdated and quite dull.

The plain white background and the amount of text crammed into one page just doesn’t look too good, in my opinion. The font and images are too small to be visually appealing, and the layout just looks a little bit cluttered.

You will find their services in their homepage, which includes hotel deals, flight tickets, travel leisure activities, and more. Click here to view the website.

Conclusion

As per the Travelzoo reviews I found online, the company still has a lot of improvements to go through before being considered a good travel agency. Unsatisfied travelers and unbooked flights are do not only turn into major inconveniences, they can also make you spend more money than you really need to.
