Reviews – What People Are Saying
Passengers arriving at this beautiful airport, seems to be pleased with the airport’s unique architecture and spotless facilities. From a number of souvenir shops to a wide variety of cafes and restaurants, the airport has a lot to offer to the locals and travelers who arrives at their airport. Here are some of the reviews I’ve read and gathered:
“I had an absolutely brilliant time in Munich Airport. I was in transit there for around 10 hours but there was plenty to do as you can sleep, shop and pretty much any other social activities are provided. However what I particularly loved about this airport is that fact that they have a Prayer room for each main religion. This is brilliant as many other airports just have a multi-faith which isn’t too good sometimes.”

“Very good airport. I found many toilets that were very clean. There were a lot of shops, bars and restaurants, even though they were quite expensive they were of a high quality. I didn’t need airport staff. Excellent internal transport with the train connecting the two terminal and the mobile platforms. At Munich Airport, passengers can plan layover or overnight sleepover. It provides comfortable chairs and benches which suits your relaxation while waiting or after your flight. You can check its Rest Zones wherein you can choose where to relax and it has corresponding fees according to type. The airport has VIP Wing, where you can enjoy the quiet and spacious ambiance. A place where you can sleep or work while waiting for your flight. It also provides Nap Cabs which facilitates a big bed, relaxing music, TV, Wi-Fi connections and adjustable lighting facility. Nap Cabs can be booked via credit cards or directly to the location. It also have lounges and hotels to choose from and it provides free Wi-Fi connection within the vicinity.”

Aside from Rest Zones, you can visit the airport’s brewery, as Munich Airport is the 1st airport brewery in the world. It serves 7 different kinds of beers, you must try the Weihenstephan Brewery. It also have Spa and salon centers, barber shops as well as showers centers where you can freshen up before or after your long flight. It has grocery stores, duty free, pharmacy and mobile charging power outlets located throughout the terminal. It also provides children’s area wherein your kids can spend their time while waiting for your flight but of course with corresponding fees and it also provides baby care facilities. It has a mini golf and visitor’s hill where you can enjoy the panoramic views of the activity at the Terminal 1.
It is truly a one of a kind airport wherein you can enjoy while waiting for your designated flight. The airport is open 24 hours and if you wish to spend a night to the airport it requires a valid flight ticket.
